The work "Weak Synaesthesia" explores the translation of electronic sounds and music into graphic and three-dimensional forms. The focus is on the visual representation of a "sound image" that precisely depicts shapes, movement patterns, and sound qualities. These graphic notations are realized as reliefs on a construction made of transparent polycarbonate plates, creating a spatial and tactile experience. The linear reading conventionally applied to notations is broken: patterns, chains, and loops form, connecting, overlapping, becoming spatial, and ultimately merging, evoking a unique sense of temporality for the viewer. The score was inspired by the track "Seed Net" by Windowseeker. This resulted in a transparent,
sculptural-installative
work on transparent polycarbonate plates , along with
two reliefs made of black polystyrene, each measuring 50x40 cm.
The process of creating the graphic notation can be seen in the research book.

MIDI Notation Converter
The MIDI Notation Converter was developed to create graphic notations from MIDI files. The MIDI to Graphic Notation Converter, built in Processing, turns MIDI data like pitch and velocity into graphic notations. It creates visual elements such as symbols and diagrams that reflect the music's flow and structure. The video showcases the use of the converter for the drum track of seed net by windowseeker.
