Studio Johannes Thiel is a Berlin-based studio for visualisation and design, working where objects, images and spaces meet, thinking in material, volume and space, even when the result is a cover or an animation. Visualisations make ideas tangible before they are built. The studio develops renderings, animation and spatial visualisations of architecture, alongside graphic design, print and the design and production of displays and objects. A project can run from the space through the moving image to the printed catalogue. That makes it a single point of contact for an exhibition, a release or a campaign. Small and direct, the studio works closely with every client, with artists, musicians, brands and cultural institutions, often as part of larger creative teams.
