The show’s title reads like a self-care mantra, and the works take it at face value. The sculptures are spread low across a bare white room, most of them lying on the floor, sprawled, reclining, perfectly unbothered. Bent metal frames, transparent membranes, black shed skins on rails, an automotive panel resting on a steel grate. One body stands upright, strung with electronics and pooling cables like something hooked up to itself. Nothing is raised on a plinth or asks to be read in any order. The human has dropped out of them, yet the cables, screws and wire stay exposed and read as nerves, tendons and vessels. The technology here is pushed so far that it has lifted itself above the human and become independent. What is left are bodies that are moisturized, focused and flourishing on their own, relics of a present that has already turned futuristic, where growth and production stop being opposites.
